Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know
Project duration depends on the scope of work. A single room typically takes 2-3 days, while a whole-home interior project (entire house) usually requires 5-10 days. We provide a detailed timeline during our initial consultation and keep you updated throughout the project. Factors that affect duration include the number of rooms, ceiling height, amount of preparation needed, and whether you're staying in the home during work.
Yes! We offer free, no-obligation estimates for all painting projects. We'll visit your space, discuss your vision and requirements, and provide a detailed written quote within 24-48 hours. Our estimates include materials, labor, surface preparation, and cleanup—so there are no hidden surprises. There's never any pressure to commit—just honest information to help you make the right decision.
We use premium paints from top manufacturers including Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, and Behr. For interior projects, we primarily use low-VOC or zero-VOC paints that are safer for your family and the environment while still providing excellent coverage and durability. We can accommodate specific brand preferences if you have a favorite—just let us know during the consultation.
We'll handle all furniture moving as part of our service. We carefully move furniture to the center of rooms, cover it with protective materials, and return everything to its original position when complete. However, we do ask that you remove valuable items, artwork, and personal belongings before we arrive. If you have very large or heavy furniture pieces (pianos, pool tables, etc.), we may request your assistance or recommend professional movers.
We offer color consultation services to help you choose the perfect colors for your space. Our color expert can bring samples to your home, show you different options in your actual lighting, and help you create a cohesive palette that complements your style and architecture. If you already know what you want, we can match any paint color or finish you specify. We can also provide paint sticks and samples for you to test in your space before committing.
Our preparation is thorough and sets us apart. It includes: moving and protecting furniture; covering floors with drop cloths; removing outlet covers and light fixtures; filling cracks, holes, and nail pops; sanding rough surfaces; cleaning walls of dust and cobwebs; priming bare wood, patches, and problem areas; and caulking gaps between trim and walls. This preparation work—which can take longer than the actual painting—is why our results look better and last longer.
Yes! We understand that many homeowners prefer work to be done when they're not at home. Our regular hours for interior work are Monday-Friday, 8AM-6PM. For commercial clients and by request, we can also schedule work on evenings and weekends at no extra charge. We want to complete your project with minimal disruption to your daily routine or business operations.

With proper preparation and quality materials, exterior paint should last 8-15 years depending on exposure to sun, rain, and other elements. Homes in harsher climates or with south-facing walls may need repainting every 8-10 years, while protected areas can go longer. Regular inspections can catch problems early—look for peeling, fading, cracking, or chalk residue on your fingers when touching the surface.
Yes, we're fully licensed and insured painting contractors. This protects you and your home during the project. Our team members are also background-checked for your peace of mind. We're happy to provide proof of insurance upon request before starting your project.
We require a deposit to schedule your project—typically 25-50% depending on project size and materials cost. The remaining balance is due upon completion and your final approval. We accept checks and major credit cards. We never require full payment upfront, and we won't pressure you to pay more than you've agreed to before the job is done to your satisfaction.
